About Carly — OBD2 car scanner
Carly — OBD2 car scanner turns your Android device into a tool for checking and understanding your car through its OBD2 port. The app provides diagnostics, live vehicle data, maintenance information, and additional features that vary depending on the car model, year, hardware, and software. The basic package includes OBD diagnostics, live data, and emission checks for important systems such as the engine and transmission. With the premium package, Carly can provide more advanced vehicle information and functions. You can read and clear fault codes from supported electronic control units (ECUs), including systems such as the engine, transmission, ABS, airbag, and multimedia. The app also provides repair guides for specific issues and live parameters that can help identify possible fault causes. Its maintenance tools can guide you through servicing tasks, resetting service information, and tracking service intervals. Carly also includes a battery check feature for monitoring the condition of the car's starter battery. On supported vehicles, coding features can be used to access manufacturer-set hidden functions and customize certain vehicle settings. For used-car buyers, Carly provides a mileage manipulation detection feature intended to help with vehicle inspections. Carly works with many vehicle brands, including Audi, BMW, Ford, Lexus, Mercedes, Mini, Opel, Porsche, Renault, Seat, Skoda, Toyota, and VW, as well as other vehicles equipped with an OBD2 port.
