Join Zidane, Princess Garnet, Steiner, Vivi, Quina, and their companions on a journey to uncover the secrets of the Crystal and confront a threat to their world. FINAL FANTASY IX brings the classic RPG adventure to Android, with battles, exploration, and a story about a group of unforgettable characters.
Customize characters by equipping items to learn abilities; once mastered, abilities can be used without the items equipped. Battles also feature Trance, which grants characters powerful skills when their gauge is full. Combine items or equipment through synthesis, or take a break from the main quest with minigames including Chocobo Hot and Cold, Jump Rope, and Tetra Master.
The Android edition includes achievements, autosave, high-definition movies and character models, and seven game boosters, including high-speed and no-encounter modes. The app uses 3.2 GB of space; the Google Play listing says to have more than 4 GB available for the initial download.
