Details for this app
NetGuard lets you allow or block internet access for individual applications and addresses over Wi-Fi and mobile connections, without requiring root access. It uses Android’s VPNService to filter traffic on your device rather than routing it through a server. The app supports IPv4 and IPv6 TCP/UDP, as well as tethering, and supports Android 5.1 and later.
Optional controls include allowing access only while the screen is on, blocking connections while roaming or for system apps, and notifying you when an app accesses the internet. NetGuard can record network usage per app and address. Its listed PRO features include logging, searching and filtering outgoing traffic, exporting PCAP files, managing address rules per app, and displaying a network-speed graph in a status-bar notification.
NetGuard is open source and has no advertisements, tracking, analytics, or calling home. Its interface includes light and dark themes.
