OBD Fusion turns an Android phone or tablet into a vehicle diagnostics display. With a compatible scan tool, it can read OBD2 data and diagnostic trouble codes, clear codes and the check engine light, estimate fuel economy, and show live vehicle data through customizable dashboards and sensor graphs.

Additional tools include data logging and CSV export, emissions readiness information, oxygen sensor results, freeze-frame data, and a diagnostic report that can be saved and emailed. The app also displays vehicle information such as the VIN and calibration ID, and includes a database of fault-code definitions.

A compatible scan tool is required. OBD Fusion supports OBD-II and EOBD vehicles, some JOBD vehicles, and compatible ELM 327 adapters. Connection options include Bluetooth, Bluetooth LE, USB, and Wi-Fi, subject to device and adapter requirements. Android Auto is supported, but its dashboards do not display gauges.
