X-Plane 10 Flight Simulator puts you in the cockpit of a flight simulator built around the flight model used in X-Plane’s FAA-certified desktop simulator. Many aircraft have interactive 3-D cockpits with working gauges, displays, buttons, and switches, and support full startup procedures.
Explore five free scenery regions: Oahu, the Grand Canyon, Seattle/Tacoma, Juneau, and Innsbruck. The app includes tutorials covering topics such as takeoffs, landings, traffic patterns, and helicopters, along with emergency scenarios, combat missions, and two-player internet multiplayer via Game Center.
The app includes two aircraft for free, with additional aircraft available as in-app purchases. A monthly or yearly subscription unlocks global scenery; a Professional subscription provides early access to massive multiplayer.
